Overview

QCW combines the peak power of a pulsed laser with the beam quality of a fiber laser: the HL-QCW-500W delivers controlled pulse energy at 1070 nm through a 5-axis motion platform with CCD visual alignment. The result is a flat, spatter-free weld bead on copper, nickel, tin, gold, silver, aluminium and dissimilar metal pairs — joints where conventional YAG spot welding leaves porosity and a rough surface.

Electrical-to-optical efficiency reaches 40%, and average power draw is roughly one tenth of an equivalent lamp-pumped machine. The laser head is compact and air-cooled, so it integrates into automated cells without a large chiller footprint.
