The HL-QCW-500G is a 500 W QCW fiber laser galvo welding system built for the step between laboratory micro-welding and full automation: a seam-producing machine that keeps the precision and low heat-affected zone of a galvo platform while generating robust, load-bearing weld seams at production speed. The Engineering Case for QCW plus Galvo

A continuous-wave laser pours heat into the part for as long as the beam is switched on. QCW delivers that same average power in shaped pulses with high peak energy and controlled off-time, so the pool freezes between pulses and heat has no chance to spread. Steering that beam with a galvo head instead of a moving table removes the inertia that normally limits seam speed on light fixtures.

• Pulsed energy, continuous seam: overlapping pulses with 60–90% spot overlap produce a fully fused, spatter-free seam at up to 12 m/min.
• Low heat-affected zone: HAZ held under 0.15 mm on 0.5 mm stainless, so thin walls keep their geometry and coatings survive.
